He was great in the playoffs, being tied for the team lead in assists and points. Hughes found the back of the net four times while adding 11 assists in the postseason. Meanwhile, he played 48 games in the regular season with the franchise. In that time, he lit the lamp five times while adding 48 helpers.Despite playing fewer games than other top scoring options, Hughes still finished fourth on the team in points while leading the team is assists and power play assists. The Wild have limited cap space this upcoming season, but have opening space heading into the 2027-28 campaign.
