Widely used blood pressure medication recalled nationwide

Published September 29, 2026 4:05pm EDT Inventia Healthcare previously recalled the same product in June for identical dissolution issues Thousands of bottles of blood pressure medication are being recalled nationwide after the products failed quality testing, according to the Food and Drug Administration. India-based Inventia Healthcare Ltd. initiated a voluntary recall for 13,567 bottles of the 25-milligram dosage chlorthalidone tablets because they don’t dissolve properly, according to the FDA enforcement report. The recall was initiated in September.Chlorthalidone is used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention, according to Mayo Clinic.
