Either Spanish or Argentine players will be handed rings while making their way to the podium to lift the World Cup. The winners of the NFL Super Bowl, NBA and Major League Baseball all get rings instead of medals to go with the team’s trophy. World Cup chiefs have decided to commemorate the tournament held in the US by dishing out rings as a bonus prize. A total of 30 rings will be dished out to the players and coaches of the winning country. But a further 1,996 will be available for fans to buy.
