Whoopi Goldberg skewers Donald Trump’s Reflecting Pool ramble before midterms

The View hosts mocked Donald Trump for rambling about the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in his election-eve appeal to voters ahead of Tuesday's (3 November) midterms.On the last afternoon before Americans vote on whether his party keeps control of Congress, the president opened his speech with what he said was a joking suggestion of renaming the Reflecting Pool after himself, and called in an aide to hold up a series of photographs depicting corroded pipework and old joints that he blamed on the previous administration’s mismanagement of the water feature.On Tuesday's episode, Whoopi Goldberg remarked: "Yesterday was the last time he should've been making a push for the candidates.
