Who will win The Celebrity Traitors? Mathematician uses game theory to predict tonight's winner - so, do you agree?

After two weeks of thrilling banishments, recruitments and murders, the Celebrity Traitors finally comes to a close this evening. While 21 stars headed to the Scottish Highlands for the series, just seven remain. In last night's episode, James Acaster dramatically admitted that he was a Traitor, leading to his banishment from the castle. That leaves Maya Jama and King Kenny as the two remaining Traitors, taking on five Faithfuls – James Blunt, Leigh–Anne Pinnock, Michael Sheen, Romesh Ranganathan, and Sebastian Croft. So, who will be the last man – or men – standing?Ahead of tonight's finale, Dr Samuel Brzezicki, a scientist specialising in game theory at Imperial College London, has revealed who his money is on. In last night's episode, James Acaster dramatically admitted that he was a Traitor, leading to his banishment from the castle. However, James A's decision to throw in the towel was 'nonsense', according to the mathematician. Dr Brzezicki explained: 'He just gave up essentially! 'But that human, social, moral way of how we all like to play came out and he felt like he didn't want to lie and cheat. He was playing the game his way and he went out his way!'As for the two remaining Traitors, Dr Brzezicki says it's not looking good for Maya. 'The position we are left in before tonight's episode has drawn some added heat towards the Maya – Michael standoff,' he said.'Regardless of this (which may see Maya voted regardless of whether Michael is our final murder or not), Kenny's position in the social aspect of the game seems to be stronger than Maya's at this stage.' Dr Brzezicki predicts that based on game theory, King Kenny will win the Celebrity TraitorsFrom a mathematical perspective, Dr Brzezicki says we're more than likely looking at a Traitor win at the end of the game. He explained: 'From the purely mathematical perspective, where each Faithful votes randomly, then two informed Traitors hidden in six players yields a high likelihood of a Traitor win.'I would love to see the Faithfuls comeback happen and that started with finding James A, but I think a bit too many suspicions are left in the air for most Faithfuls to coordinate on Kenny.'My head tells me Kenny's going to bring this home for the Traitors.' While Dr Brzezicki predicts Kenny is going to win, the bookies don't agree.According to ActionNetwork.com, Romesh Ranganathan is now the favourite to win, while the odds of King Kenny making it to the end are 11/2.'In the race for the win, Romesh Ranganathan leads with odds of 15/8 to win, followed closely by James Blunt at 3/1 and Sebastian Croft at 4/1,' an ActionNetwork.com spokesperson said.'Based on their recent conversations, these three seemingly trust each other to be faithful, so they will likely stick together to get rid of the remaining contestants they have doubts about.'
