It’s almost time for Louisa Jacobson to grace our screens again in season 4 of The Gilded Age. We get to see what’s in store for her character, Marian Brook, after she and Larry Russell tumultuously ended their engagement. In the new season, the fan-fave character is figuring out her place in society, on her terms. But…could life be imitating art for Louisa? She recently revealed she is “now single” and hopes to meet someone off the apps during an interview with Grazia published on October 12.“I did [Raya] years ago when I broke up with my boyfriend,” she explained. “I was just coming out, and it felt like a safer way to do that. But now that I have done a couple seasons of the show, and I have some standing in the fashion world, I feel a little too… I’m not famous. But I feel weirdly vulnerable. Exposed.”Louisa may be on the market now—that we know of, anyway—but her dating history has been pretty private over the years. She was last linked to producer Anna Blundell, who has helped create campaigns for fashion brands like Versace, Wales Bonner, and Miu Miu.Craig Barritt//Getty ImagesAccording to Vanity Fair, Anna soft-launched a relationship with Louisa with some sweet pics on her Instagram grid back in December 2023. But it wasn’t until June 2024 that Louisa would hard-launch Anna in a (now deleted) Instagram post alongside a New York Times headline that reads, “We’re Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion.”“Blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb ❤️🔥🏳️🌈,” she wrote in the caption of her post, where she simultaneously came out as queer and hard-launched her partner on her mom Meryl Streep’s birthday.“The interesting thing is that I never came out!” Louisa, who identifies as queer, said of the since-deleted post during her chat with Grazia. “I never said the words ‘I am a lesbian’ to the press. I posted some stuff on Instagram, like an article about lesbian fashion from the [New York] Times, and the media really ran with it. And so they decided that I was a lesbian.”The pair remained out of the spotlight, for the most part, until they made a rare joint appearance at the Human Rights Campaign’s Greater New York Dinner in February 2025.At the time, Louisa told Page Six that after being “in straight relationships back-to-back,” she had been “hiding for so long, part of myself that I knew was always there.” As she met Anna, the “part that [she] was hiding was really making itself known.”The pair never publicly announced a split, but it’s important to note that Louisa has seemingly archived or deleted all her posts with Anna—including the aforementioned hard-launch—from her social feeds. Anna, on the other hand, still has this sweet pic of Louisa up on her profile:They both still follow each other on Instagram, too.Elsewhere during her interview with Grazia, Louisa admitted that she’s “an old-school soul.”“I kind of really love meeting people in person and organically,” she explained. “I still have faith in that. Sorry! I’m such a romantic!”Hopefully, she has the in-person meet-cute of her dreams sometime soon.
