Who Are The Best Operators In Star Wars Zero Company

More importantly, he's still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release. Operators are the lifeblood of Star Wars Zero Company. They are the core of the gameplay, and ensuring you have a strong team will make a huge difference in how difficult your playthrough is. However, with a mix of unique and randomized operators, it can be difficult to know which ones to use — especially early on when you're strapped for credits. If you're struggling to know which operators to invest time in, here are my recommendations for what you should consider using during your playthrough. Just remember, this is simply a recommendation, as you can beat the game with literally any combination of operators if you're skilled and creative enough. The beauty of Zero Company is the sheer variety available, so don't take my picks as the be-all, end-all choice! Best Named Operators To simplify, we're going to break this down into named and randomized operators. Named operators are key characters that have a unique abilities, story, and are unlocked as you progress through the story. There are several you will come across, each of which brings something to the table worth considering. That being said, some of the named operators are standouts due to their stats and abilities. Additionally, you will be able to add a second Specialization to each of these characters, deepening their combat potential and opening up some pretty wild build possibilities. This will unlock about halfway through the story and really opens up the viability of some operators. In no particular order, here are my choices for the best named operators: Cly Trick Tel-Rae Cly Starting with Cly, she is far and away one of the best characters in the entire game. A bounty hunter revolving around mobility and utilizing powerful Advantage moves, Cly can single-handedly kill an entire group of enemies by herself. This is because of her Electroweb Dart and Electroweb Surge combo. After sticking an enemy with the dart, she can trigger an Electroweb Surge, which does AoE (area of effect) damage, ignores their defense, and hits any enemies within the radius. Given that you can hit multiple targets with darts before activating the surge, this lets Cly shock a ton of enemies at once. If they're clustered together, you can chain the damage between them to instantly kill every enemy in the blast zone. Plus, all this costs Advantage and not Action Points, meaning you can still reposition or shoot foes to deal with any stragglers. Things get really off the rails when you combine this with the Scout Specialization, as you'll gain access to the Combat Recon action ability. Using this lets you gain a ton of Advantage in a single turn, which you then spend on more darts, allowing you to cover the battlefield in explosions. Plus, she comes equipped with a Jetpack that gives her insanely strong mobility, since you can dive into a group, tag them with darts, and leave before they can counter! Trick Trick is one of the starter operators you'll have access to, and he's quite versatile. This is thanks to the For My Brothers talent, that essentially gives Trick a free life if he is ever Downed in combat. In a game where death is extremely punishing, knowing you can be a bit more aggressive and risky with Trick makes him quite useful throughout all stages of the game. He also has some great melee skills if you want to make him more of a brawler, and his Rocket Strike is capable of obliterating entire groups of enemies along with all the cover they were using. Early on, Trick will be the backbone of your squad and serve as one of the most consistent and threatening operators on your team. Once you transition to the late game, turning Trick into a tank via the Heavy Specialization makes this clone a brick wall that can just lockdown an entire position. By both improving his health and obtaining the Unstoppable ability, Trick can retaliate against anyone who attacks him and will taunt enemies he successfully hits. Tel-Rae Yes, surprising no one, the Jedi operator is very, very good. Tel-Rae is a displacement specialist who thrives at close quarters or forcing her enemies out of position. Her main weapons are dual lightsabers, which can do a solid amount of melee damage and have a decent chance of hitting a critical on a foe. While this requires you to get close, her sheer mobility allows Tel-Rae to rapidly close the gap. This makes her quite strong for flanking or picking off targets that are away from the main group. Her real strengths are the Force Push and Pull Fast Actions. These allow Tel-Rae to select any enemy in a wide radius around her and displace them from their current position. You can rip foes through cover, push them into their allies, force them to fall to their death, or just pull enemies close to Tel-Rae so she can melee them. She will gain access to more abilities later on, such as an extremely powerful lightsaber throw that deals an extreme amount of damage. Tel-Rae is exceptionally powerful and is definitely an operator who is useful for nearly every single mission. Best Randomized Operators Here's where things get a bit complicated, as you can also recruit non-story operators, who will have a randomized Specialization and Talent. The former is basically Zero Company's version of a class system, while the latter is a unique ability that isn't tied to a specific Specialization (but can really impact how that character plays). This means there are specific combinations of these two that you'll want to look out for since they will synergize with that operator's playstyle. Again, you can mostly get by with just the named operators, but having some solid operators to sub in for either specific missions or roles can make a big difference. Some of the best randomized operator combinations to look out for are: Specialization Talent(s) Heavy Grit or Taunt Medic Sabotage or Anticipation Sharpshooter The Bigger They Are... Soldier A Life of Labor Of these operators, the two I really recommend hunting for are a Medic and a Sharpshooter. Medics are quite strong since they can carry multiple Medpacs, have increased healing, and can provide a Combat Stim that increases that operator's Max Health, Melee Damage, and Ranged Damage. This can be extremely useful early on before you unlock dual Specialization, as they can focus solely on supporting your team during a fight. A Sharpshooter with The Bigger They Are... is the main operator combo you want to get. This Specialization gives you access to Zero In to increase your Critical Chance and Chance-To-Hit, making them especially dangerous with longarm blasters. Combine this with The Bigger They Are... to give them increased damage against Elite and Boss-tier enemies, to create an operator all about fighting the strongest enemies in the game. You won't use them a ton, but this can really help during some of the later campaign missions when you're facing tough bosses. Some other good operator combos include a Heavy with Grit or Taunt to act as a tank for your team, while a Soldier with A Life of Labor can be quite a strong melee-focused enemy. Remember, you don't need these exact combos to have a successful playthrough, but they are ones you should keep an eye out for whenever you check for new operators!
