The Cubs swept all three games.The Cubs are 28-16 and lead in the National League Central by 2.5 games, and have won six out of their last ten games. Meanwhile, the southsiders are second in the American League Central, one game behind the Cleveland Guardians. They also won 6 of their last 10 games.A far cry from recent years, when the White Sox were in the basement. Since winning the American League Central in 2021, they have accumulated a 337-497 record. In 2024, the White Sox set a single-season record for losses with a 41-121 record.Last year, they finished at 60-102. Fast forward today, and the White Sox seem to be turning the tables. A combination of young talent, a newfound clubhouse culture, and the leadership of manager Will Venable has spoken volumes.The first game of the cross-town series begins on Friday at Guaranteed Rate Field at 6:40 pm CST.
