Where to find the mysterious dog's toy in Control Resonant

A mysterious dog can be found sitting on a rooftop in Control Resonant. When you interact with her, you decide that you need to find her a toy, which every good dog deserves. Luckily, one can be found nearby. However, it turns out that the mysterious dog will appear in multiple zones, so you'll need to find a bunch of toys in order to complete the "Every Dog Has Her Day" side story quest. Here's where to find the mysterious dog's toy in Control Resonant. [Ed. note: This guide is currently a work in progress. We'll update this guide with every dog toy location shortly.] Where to find the mysterious dog's toy in Control Resonant The mysterious dog can be found in just about every zone in Control Resonant, and it'll be close to the dog's position. Luckily, every dog toy is the same: a teal dinosaur with purple spots. Image: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon When you're looking for the dog toy, keep an eye out for a Chowrap billboard. This will always direct you toward the toy, and the billboard itself can be seen from the dog's position. For the exact location of every dog toy, check out the sections below. Downtown mysterious dog toy location in Control Resonant Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon The dog toy in the Downtown zone can be found on the rooftop just across the street. From the mysterious dog, look to the southeast, and you'll spot the toy dinosaur. Use Rush, Elevate, and air dodge to get to the toy, and place it onto the dog's bed to complete this portion of the "Every Dog Has Her Day" side story quest. West Incursion Zone mysterious dog toy location in Control Resonant Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon The dog in the West Incursion Zone is sitting on the roof of the sideways building northwest of the parking garage. To reach her, you need to complete the fault in the parking garage to unlock Shift, which will let you walk on sideways/upside down buildings and roads. Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon From the dog, look to the south to spot the Chowrap billboard, and then look to the left of the billboard to see the toy on top of a rooftop AC unit. Make your way over to grab the toy and bring it back to the dog bed. Evacuation Zone mysterious dog toy location in Control Resonant Before you can reach the Evacuation Zone dog, you need to complete the Subway fault in the northeast corner of the zone to unlock Reach, which allows you to propel yourself to the light-bending orbs on top of buildings. Pick it up, and look above the area illuminated in red light to spot the dog. If you have Shift from the West Incursion Zone, you can jump and swap over to the other roof. Instead, go up the ramp below the dog and jump up toward the dog's bed. You'll have a brief moment where you can drop the toy in the dog's bed. Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon Look into the alleyway with a bunch of lasers, and you'll spot another Chowrap billboard. The dog toy can be found just underneath it. Pick it up, and head back out into the street. You can't use Reach with the dog toy in hand, so you'll need to jump your way back onto the rooftop. Hop onto the wooden scaffolding and then the suspended platform to get to the top. Then, plop the dog toy into the dog bed, and don't forget to pet the dog! Teleport to the "Mold Factory" fast travel door and head northeast across the rooftops until you reach her. The dog toy can be found just across the street. Look up to the east, where you'll see an elevator, a Chowrap billboard, and the dog toy. Unfortunately, the elevator is a bit too high to reach normally, but there are two ways to reach it: Turn on the elevator by using the power block found in the parking lot southwest of the dog. Use the ramp on the building south of the dog to glide over (need "Extended Rush"). Then, run over to the elevator, whack the block with your weapon, and then call the elevator down. Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon For the second method, sprint jump off the edge of the ramp, so that you're gliding in the air with Rush active. As soon as you notice yourself dipping lower, air dodge ahead twice. This should put you just close enough that you can grab onto the elevator, but it may take a couple of tries. Grab the dog toy and leap back over. Place the dog toy into the bed and give her a good pet. Use Reach to get onto the pillar that the cable car is attached to, and jump across the teleporting platforms to the next pillar. Use it to get to the next pillar, and continue to the north side of the pillar. Look up and to the north again to see another Reach point. Make your way over, where you'll finally find the dog. To get there, you can either follow the red carpeted path behind the dog to reach the dog toy, or you can jump onto the white rectangular box northwest of the dog, jump as high as you can and Shift onto the ceiling. Grab the dog toy, jump as high as you can again, and drop it so that it lands near the dog. Then, look up and to the south to see a Reach point. Use it to get back to the same surface as the dog, and drop the toy into its bed.
