Where To Find Phione In Pokemon Pokopia's Bubbly Basin DLC

Unlike Manaphy, whom you'll meet at the start of Pokemon Pokopia's Bubbly Basin DLC, Phione won't appear until you've made some progress in the main story. You don't necessarily need to have completed Bubbly Basin, but you do need to have progressed far enough for Popplio to ask you to help build the Beautiful Building. When Popplio starts this task, there will be several Pokemon you need to help before they can assist with building the Beautiful Building. One of these Pokemon will be Frillish, whose task is also your first step towards welcoming Phione to Bubbly Basin. Where To Get The Starmie Doll While helping Pokemon with tasks to build the Beautiful Building, one of the Pokemon who needs your help is Frillish. Frillish can be found at a cave entrance by the large garden on the north-west side of the map, near the surface. The entrance is a large square shape and hard to miss. Inside, you'll find Frillish waiting near some netting that she will ask you to cut. Once you do, you'll head inside the cave, where Frillish will ask for help tracking down a Starmie Doll. To find the Starmie Doll, you'll need to use the Dowsing Machine and Frillish's Search specialty. Sometimes the pathfinding can be a bit weird, but the doll will be on the lower level of the cave near some Star-spotted Rocks and cart tracks. Just look for the sparkling block. After you find it, show it to Frillish, and then she will tell you to keep it. At this point, you're free to do whatever you'd like with it, including using it with Drifloon. Where To Find Phione With the Starmie Doll in your inventory, head back to wherever you currently have Drifloon residing. There, ask Drifloon to take you to a Dream Island and then select the Starmie Doll. The Starmie Doll will take you to a Bubbly Basin Dream Island, which basically means it will be mostly underwater and contain items you'd find there, like Grubby Pearls, Coral, and Sea Shells. Another secret you'll find here is, you guessed it, Phione. That said, finding Phione is a process similar to finding Raikou, Suicune, and Entei. While Phione does spawn in this specific Dream Island, it's random, and you'll likely need to revisit it several times before you find it here. To speed things up a bit, when you arrive on the Dream Island, open up your Pokedex and set the filter to show Pokemon in the current area. Additionally, make sure Unknown Pokemon are visible. If Phione is here, you'll see Ditto, Drifloon, and a third unknown Pokemon listed on your Pokedex. If there's nothing there, Phione is not here, and you need to come back the next day. You can time jump to the next day, and however many you need, to find Phione on the Dream Island, but remember to reset it when you're done so you can still participate in timed events that require your clock to be synced over Wi-Fi. As you know, you can only visit the Dream Island once a day, so you won't be able to keep checking on the same day. Once you see the indicator that Phione has spawned, proceed to the center of the Dream Island, where the large rocky structure made of dark purple blocks is. Regardless of the Dream Island layout, it's almost always in the center. When you reach it, swim around it until you find an entrance to the cave inside it. Inside the cave, you should find a large ornate area where Phione can be found. Depending on where you enter from, you may also see a large wall that looks out of place. Just break through it. Interact with Phione and tell them you're ready to leave. This will bring you back to Drifloon, where you can now ask to exit the Dream Island. Phione will follow you, and you'll be transported to where you were when you entered the Dream Island. At this point, you're now free to escort Phione to their new living quarters, wherever you decide that may be.
