Where To Find Every Strange Postcard In Silent Hill Townfall

Strange Postcards are one of Silent Hill: Townfall's collectibles and can be found throughout most of the game. There are 15 in total, and they're typically hidden off the beaten path, encouraging players to explore areas they wouldn't otherwise be led to for story purposes. If you manage to find all of them, you'll unlock the Blur Your Eyes trophy/achievement and use them to access the Sci-Fi ending in New Game+. If you happen to miss one, however, progress is saved across playthroughs, so you can grab any you missed during New Game+. However, you may not have what you need to unlock the Sci-Fi ending in that playthrough if the ones you missed are later in the game. Part 1: Simon There are four Strange Postcards that are found in the first part of the game. Since you'll only play as Simon during this part, the cutoff to find these will be at the end of Part 1, when you complete the scale puzzle at the clinic. One important thing to keep in mind is that these can only be found while playing as Simon, so you won't find any during the sections where you play as Zoe or Richard. Strange Postcard - 1 Found inside the Video Star store at the end of West Shore Road. Location marker number 1 on the St. Amelia map. It will be sitting on top of the counter at the front desk. Strange Postcard - 2 Found in the small area behind location marker 3, which you'll need to access through St. Amelia Park. It will be on the ground next to a red cooler and a dumpster. Strange Postcard - 3 Found in the upper left corner of the map, along Farrow Street. You'll be led to this street while looking for Jess' house, but you'll need to walk towards this dead end to grab the postcard off the wall. Strange Postcard - 4 Found in the upstairs apartment of building 16 near Farrow Street Parking. You'll enter this building as part of the story when looking for the keys to Jess' house. The postcard will be on the floor of what appears to be a child's bedroom, near the end of the bed. Part 2: Zoe As mentioned, you won't find any postcards during sections where you play as Zoe or Richard, so you won't need to look for Postcards during the first portion of Part 2. Additionally, since you'll only play as Simon for a short period, there are only two postcards to find before Part 3. Strange Postcard - 5 While making your way to the Medical Centre as Simon, you'll pass through the area around Marker 15 on the map. In one of the alleyways, across from a dumpster, there will be a staircase to the right of an enemy leading down to a dead end. The postcard is at the bottom of those stairs. Strange Postcard - 6 Found in the backyard of the apartment building with the scaffolding that you'll go through on the way to the medical center as Simon. After you reach the other side where the exit is, go back down the hall behind you and into the yard, and you'll find this card in a shed across from the swing set. Part 3: The Patient Similar to Part 2, Part 3 will also begin with Zoe as the playable character. You'll complete an entire surgical puzzle as her before you swap to Simon's perspective. As soon as you do, you'll be able to find the postcards for this section. There are three Strange Postcards in this section.The cutoff for this section is complicated sinceyou'll be locked out of rooms as you progress. Grab them while in the area to avoid missing them. Strange Postcard - 7 Found in the X-ray room immediately after you swap back to Simon after the surgical sequence. Use the same code, 7103, to enter the room and find it on the counter. Strange Postcard - 8 During the Blood Transfusion puzzle, this can be found on a table in room W06, which you can only access after getting the Master Key in W04. Strange Postcard - 9 During the Blood Transfusion puzzle, this postcard can be found inside the supply box on the wall in P08. Part 4: Clara Woods During the Clara Woods sequence, there are four postcards for Simon to find. Be sure to grab them as soon as you pass the area, because you do reach points of no return during this sequence. Strange Postcard - 10 Unfortunately, since Simon doesn't have a map of the area where it can be found, I won't be able to share a map location. That said, when you start walking down the road that is littered with corpses, some of which aren't dead and will attack you, you'll eventually reach the end where the road then splits left or right. The intended path is left, but go right and to the dead end where the black car is parked. In front of the car, there will be an alleyway. If you head down the alley, it leads through one small backyard and into a larger one with a shed. This postcard is on a shelf in that shed. Strange Postcard - 11 Early on in Clara Woods, you'll be able to enter an apartment off Atlas Square. This postcard can be found in a dresser in one of the bedrooms. Strange Postcard - 12 While walking down Atlas Way toward the Square, you should pass a furniture shop with a small setup display behind a window. The postcard is sitting on the table in the display, so you'll need to break the glass with a melee weapon, throwable, or gunshot to retrieve it. Strange Postcard - 13 Once you cross the Overpass, 5 Upper Brae will be on your right, but go left. At the dead end, you'll find this postcard on the floor next to a large cage. Strange Postcard - 14 Found in a storage closet outside the back door, while the Tomorrow Tape is in the tape player at 5 Upper Brae. You'll have to get the backdoor key from the kitchen while the DO NOT PLAY tape is in the tape player, so be sure to swap to the Tomorrow Tape to grab this postcard before progressing the story. Part 5: Richard Since this section of the game is played exclusively as Richard,no Strange Postcards are found in Part 5. However, there are still documents to find, so keep an eye out for those! Part 6: Simon Part 6 is the last section of the game, and there will only be one Strange Postcard to find. After you collect it, you should unlock the game's achievement, assuming you've collected all the others up to this point. Again, if you haven't, they do carry over into New Game+, so you can grab the last few that are missing then. Strange Postcard - 15 This postcard is easy to miss and a bit hard to see. During this part of the game, Simon will have a few sequences where he's forced to crawl through pipes and deal with crawling enemies. This will be found during the second time you have to crawl through pipes. After you go through the grate next to the locked door and enter the second set of pipes, go straight ahead and take the first right to reach an intersection. Turn left here to reach a dead end where this strange postcard will be on the ground. To recap, the instructions are: Enter pipes through the grate. Take the first right. Take a left at the first split in the pipes. Reach the dead end, where the postcard is. As soon as you pick it up, you should unlock the associated achievement. All of these postcards will now appear when you begin New Game+, and you'll use them to help you unlock the Sci-Fi ending, which also requires you to find three Strange Books during your New Game+ playthrough.
