Where To Find Every Map Kit In Control Resonant

More importantly, he's still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release. There are a ton of collectibles you can find when exploring New York City in Control Resonant. From the plethora of files scattered throughout to various upgrade materials to drawings that Dylan makes of things he finds, you can lose a lot of time trying to find everything. To make things easier, you will want to map out this twisting city that has been corrupted by various paranatural entities. This is done through Map Kits, which are satellites you need to realign to a central tower. There is a Map Kit per region, so if you want to stop stumbling around in the dark, here is how to reveal the entire map. All Map Kit Locations Downtown Map Kit Location Your first Map Kit can be found in the Downtown region. This is the easiest one to complete since it acts as the main tutorial for the activity. To complete a Map Kit, you need to first locate the large tower covered in dishes (this will be marked on your map whenever you enter a new region). When you locate the tower, there will be three smaller satellites nearby that you will need to activate. These satellites will have blinking red lights, and interacting with one will cause it to point towards the tower. Once all three have been activated, return to the Map Kit tower and interact with it to reveal the map for that region. For Downtown, you can find the three satellites on the rooftops of nearby buildings that are right next to the tower. Two will be on rooftops connected by an FBC walkway, with the third being on the basketball court where the fast travel door is. Central Map Kit Location Similar to Downtown, the Central Map Kit is extremely easy to locate and complete. Make your way to the FBC Field Office and look for the large tower on top of the orange containers that are acting as makeshift buildings. While at the tower, look out to the northwest and you will easily spot all three satellites within a 180-arc in front of you. Evacuation Zone Map Kit Location For the Evacuation Zone, make your way to the center of the region and east of the sinkhole. When you arrive, climb onto the roof to find both the tower and a fast travel point you can activate. From the tower, you can find one satellite directly north, and it will only be a few meters away. The second one is east of the tower on the rooftop, literally right next to it, and the final satellite can be found across the street to the southeast. All of these will be right by a yellow parachute draping over the edge of a building, so look for those if you're struggling at all to locate these satellites. West Incursion Zone Map Kit Location You can find the Map Kit for the West Incursion Zone outside of the House of Mirrios theater. Across the road, in the small courtyard, you will find the Map Kit Tower. Keep in mind this area is guarded by a mini-boss variant of the Hiss Transporter called Leo. Just like the other transporters, focus on destroying the human body nodes around the exterior to heavily damage it. Once the mini-boss is dead, you can find all three Map Kit satellites on the street around the main tower. The first two are right on the road running alongside the theater, while the third is north of the tower. With all three activated, return to the tower to reveal the map for the West Incursion Zone. The Park Map Kit Location Unlocked after you complete the Evacuation Zone Jesse Sighting quest, The Park is a fairly dangerous region filled with Mold enemies. When you arrive, the Map Kit's main tower is located in the middle of this region, around some of the larger floating Spore Mothers. When looking at the tower from the Park Valley fast travel door, you can see the first Map Kit satellite on a roof to the left. The second satellite is to the east of the tower, down in the ravine formed out of the mold-infested buildings. You may need to fight the Spore Mothers before activating it, as they patrol around the roof of this building. Once this satellite is activated, head northeast of the tower, and you'll find the last satellite on the street next to the building with the neon sign that reads "Bar." Underpass Map Kit Location This region is unlocked by just progressing far enough through the main story until you are sent back down the sinkhole a second time. Once you arrive at the Underpass, make your way to the northeast side of the region via climbing the floating platforms. Eventually, you reach a floating platform with the main Map Kit tower. Finding the actual satellites for the Map Kit isn't difficult since they are on the adjacent floating platforms around the spire. Where things get tricky is that there's a massive Hiss Riveter along with some other Heavy units guarding the area. Given your limited room to move, you'll want to focus on defeating the Riveter. Try to only attack it either when it's directly over a platform or when it pauses to take a break, exposing the weak point on its back. After you deal with all the Hiss, work your way around the platforms directly across from the central one with the Map Kit tower in the center. Unknown Map Kit Location The most dangerous Map Kit to locate and activate, this one can be found in the endgame region fittingly called the Unknown. When you arrive via the elevator after speaking with Pope, jump onto the floating platform to turn the world so the street across the massive gap is below you. Jump off the edge and free-fall down onto the street to reorient yourself so you are right side up. Once this happens, you'll want to scale the nearest building and flip the city upside down. Your Map Kit tower can be found on top of a tall building in the center of this region. Make sure to use the various Reach points on the buildings, as this is the best way to quickly climb up the skyscrapers or invert your orientation in this region. Once you have reached the tower, look north, and you will see two different Map Kit satellites to the left and right. The final satellite is located on the roof of the building to the left of the giant "HOTEL" sign. Be careful when going to activate these, as this region is extremely dangerous, and you'll want to be at least Aberrant Strength 100 to even survive the Hiss, Mold, and Hedron foes roaming this area. I strongly advise just activating the satellites and running if you're underleveled.
