The estate was a newlywed nest; it was the same year that the actor married his wife, Luciana Barroso, whom he had met in the sunny city. Listing history shows the double lot was a one-acre property with 170 feet of Biscayne Bay water frontage. Across a two-story Mediterranean-style main home and a two-bedroom guesthouse, the estate spanned over 12,000 square feet with seven bedrooms and nine and a half bathrooms. Overlooking a large swimming pool with an inset spa, a cabana was decked out with a summer kitchen and a rooftop terrace. Other highlights of the home included a movie theater, a wine cellar, an office, and a private terrace off of the spacious primary suite. After nearly a decade of ownership, the actor sold the compound in 2014 for $15.4 million.Pacific Palisades mansionDamon spent about the same amount of time maintaining his next property, a Pacific Palisades mansion that he owned from 2012 until 2021. He broke the record for the most expensive Brooklyn dwelling ever sold when he scooped it up for $16.745 million in late 2018 (almost quaint in comparison to the current record-holder, a Gravesend mansion that sold for $32 million in November 2025). The actor made headlines when he began moving into the 6,200-square-foot, six-bedroom aerie in 2020, closing down the entire block to accommodate a crane that stretched over 14 stories to deposit furniture and trees on Damon’s sprawling terrace.Originally known as the Standish Arms Hotel, the Beaux-Arts building was erected in 1903 by Frank S.
