Where Does Each Member of the Royal Family Live? See Inside Their Lavish Homes

The royal family has more palaces than they know what to do with, but these days literally everyone—including King Charles—lives in private homes away from the “public eye.” And if you’re wondering where the British royals reside while Buckingham Palace pivots to its “administrative headquarters” era, we have a roundup that’ll make you feel some kinda way (read: jealous, for the most part). Here’s where everyone in the royal family—specifically King Charles and his immediate family—live.King CharlesBeing the monarch, King Charles obviously has access to a fleet of palaces and castles (Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the list goes on). The home was built in the 1770s as a "grace-and-favour property" for friends of the royals to stay at for free, and Princess Margaret's private secretary lived there in the 1990s.
