The game of wink murder, with its starry second season cast, will wrap up at the end of October with a bumper 80-minute episode. The BBC finale will air on Friday, October 30th, from 8pm to 9.20pm, and will be followed by a special 40-minute episode of the spin-off Uncloaked. There, host Ed Gamble and the full cast will gather in a studio to unpick the castle action and, no doubt, dramatic finale. The BBC synopsis of the finale teases: ‘As the ultimate game of deception and trust draws to a close, the stakes have never been higher as the celebrity players face their final, explosive mission. ‘With the prize fund complete, will the pressure of winning cloud anyone’s vision? Will the Faithful banish all of the Traitors to secure victory, or will the Traitors manage to deceive until the bitter end?’ The BBC finale will air on Friday, October 30th, from 8pm to 9.20pm (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry) Three Celebrity Traitors stars’ fates hang in the balance ahead of tonight’s episode (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry) Celebrity Traitors bosses will no doubt hope this season finale goes off without a hitch, unlike the last one. The finale of last year’s smash hit season was released online over 24 hours ahead of its UK air time, allowing viewers in Canada to watch the episode and see Alan Carr’s victory ahead of time. The Beeb was forced to put out a statement asking fans not to spoil the result for those who had yet to tune in. The show returns tonight, in an episode that will mark the halfway point of the 10-episode season, with a Traitor and several Faithful already cast to the wind. The fates of Ross Kemp, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan hang in the balance, with the Traitors able to murder one of them after Leigh-Anne Pinnock was, very chivalrously, elected as the one shielded. Our Metro columnist Amol Rajan – who was tragically first to be cut down this season – has singled out Traitor James Acaster as a real one to watch. He also noted that several of the big names have managed to fly under the radar, writing: ‘Going into tonight, I’m struck by how a few of what Joe Marler might have called the Big Dogs have been quiet. ‘I wish I had been quieter too. If they ever released me from that coffin and into a new series, “Silent but Violent” would be my new mantra.’ Deals of the Day My skin always suffers when the heating goes on but this serum changed that The skincare formula that finally took the guesswork out of my routine Families can save up to 20% on summer 2027 holidays in Club Med's four-day sale Cold mornings are coming and this is the dressing gown I want to live in Most of us aren't getting enough fibre – this easy supplement could change that Celebrity Traitors returns this evening at 8pm on BBC and iPlayer.
