EMMERDALE fans are facing another change to their routine this week, with sport getting in the way of the latest drama from The Woolpack. The World Cup prompted a massive TV schedule shakeup, with ITV regularly showing football match during the soap’s regular time slot – and there will be further disruption this week. In February 2025, ITV confirmed it was launching the ‘soap power hour’ scheduling pattern for its two long-running favourites. The good news is that Emmerdale is being broadcast in its usual 8pm slot four out of five nights this week. Episodes are also available to stream on ITVX from 7am on the same day. However, fans will miss out on Wednesday, with no episode broadcast.
