EMMERDALE fans are facing another change to their routine this week, with sport getting in the way of the latest drama from The Woolpack. The World Cup prompted a massive TV schedule shakeup, with ITV regularly showing football match during the soap’s regular time slot – and there will be further disruption this week. In February 2025, ITV confirmed it was launching the ‘soap power hour’ scheduling pattern for its two long-running favourites.
