The drama is only just beginning for Nicola (Picture: BBC / Metro) The arrival of the chaotic Hawkins clan did not disappoint in EastEnders, with the family wasting little time in making themselves right at home, much to the horror of Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington). The newcomers, extended family of Nicola’s, arrived in Albert Square on Monday (August 31) after a brief visit a number of weeks ago. Gemma (Patricia Potter), son Ryder (Felix Uff) and sister Jodie (Anna Constable) begged Nicola to let them stay at No. 1. Nicola was reluctant at first but ultimately relented, allowing them to stay under her roof on one condition – that mum Rose (Marian McLoughlin) stay away. Gemma agreed but seconds later her husband Ned (Jamie Bamber) rocked up in Walford with Rose in tow, much to the chagrin of Nicola, who ordered her entire clan out of her home. Ned met up with old mate Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who gave him and Gemma a roof over their heads for the night. Ryder and Jodie, meanwhile, were staying with Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Rose checked in at Peacock Palace.
