Co-produced by HYBE INDIA and Bookmyshow the festival here will feature a mix of K-pop and international acts. A flagship global music festival which has seen multiple editions in South Korea, this will be the event’s international debut. Indian acts including Gini, King, RANJ X Clifr, Reble, and DJ Zelo have also been announced as a part of the lineup. The anticipation for a K-pop concert or music festival of this scale has been steadily building up ever since HYBE, the agency that manages a host of K-pop talent including BTS, made inroads into India and set up an office in Mumbai sometime ago. With artistes such as Taemin, Super Junior D & E, Korean Indie rock band The Rose and girl group X:IN are among those who have performed in the country over the last two years, the clamour has been growing for more concerts and festivals. We also want to make the festival as accessible as possible, as a way of giving back to the fans for the love, loyalty and unwavering support they have shown our artists over the years,” says Sarthak Arora, Head of Business Development, HYBE INDIA. Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer - Live Events, BookMyShow, adds that the lineup for this festival captures that reach of K-Pop in full, bringing established names alongside artists defining what comes next, all on one stage in India. The line up for Weverse Con Festival India also includes Eric Nam, singer Rhea Raj, BUMZU, the acclaimed music producer known for his work behind K-pop group Seventeen’s music, Dayoung, Eric Nam and K-Pop veteran Lee Hyun.
