Westlake police find loaded gun in car near children after arresting adults

Westlake police arrested a husband and wife at 9 p.m. on Oct. 24 on I-90 eastbound on warrants for receiving stolen property. Officers stopped the vehicle for speeding and learned that the 36-year-old male driver, a Cleveland resident, was wanted by the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department on a felony warrant for receiving stolen property. His 39-year-old wife, of Cleveland, was also wanted for receiving stolen property.
