Weather alert: Monsoon system packing rain bomb to hit Delhi-NCR shortly

Gurgaon is likely to see the rain intensify after noon, with moderate to heavy showers expected across parts of the city.The rain-bearing clouds are expected to remain active over the region through the evening, with rainfall continuing intermittently in different parts of Delhi-NCR until around 7-8 pm. The intensity and duration of the rainfall could lead to waterlogging on roads, particularly in low-lying areas and locations that are prone to drainage problems. Traffic disruptions and slower movement are also possible during periods of intense rainfall.The latest satellite imagery shows significant cloud activity spread across northern and central parts of India, with large cloud clusters visible over Uttar Pradesh and surrounding regions.Residents across Delhi-NCR are advised to plan their travel accordingly, particularly during the peak rainfall hours.
