‘Weapons,’ ‘Marty Supreme’ and ‘Hacks’ Among 2026 MacGuffin Awards Nominees

“One Battle After Another, “Marty Supreme” and “Sinners” are among the MacGuffin Awards nominees presented by the Property Masters Guild. The awards honors the prop masters and their contributions behind the camera. The winners will be revealed during the live ceremony on Sept. 12. “Year after year, the caliber of work submitted for these awards reaffirms just how much Property Masters shape the stories we love,” said Jeffrey Johnson, the president of PMG. “We started this award to make sure that kind of artistry never goes unnoticed, and this year’s field proves exactly why that mission matters.” “Sinners” nominee Douglas Ware previously told Variety, that the toughest prop to secure for the entire film was Miles Caton’s guitar.
