WAYNE ROONEY has landed a new job — hosting a Manchester United podcast with loudmouth fan Mark Goldbridge. The United legend will be teaming up with the viral supporter for a new show called Stick to United. The streaming service agreed a mega-money deal that will see Nev’s brand go up against Netflix and Gary Lineker‘s Rest is Football. Sign up for the Man United newsletter Thank you! The new United-focused show will run for 50 episodes and be co-presented by Rooney and Goldbridge. It will run alongside Neville’s main show, Stick to Football. That podcast will continue to include the regular faces of Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Roy Keane. All shows will be shared on Disney+, but will also continue to be uploaded directly to YouTube. Subscribers will also have access to an additional 20 exclusive episodes before they are released to the wider public. Speaking on the new partnership, Neville insisted that it will not compromise their “identity”. He wrote: “Hi Wazza do you want picking up in the morning pal?” The post is a reference to the iconic tweet made by Rooney in 2011 when he asked the same of United team-mate Rio Ferdinand. Rooney will also be becoming a regular fixture on The Overlap after making guest appearances in the past.
