Wayne Lineker announces shock closure of O Beach venue after 2 years – but teases future comeback

WAYNE Lineker has announced the shock closure of an O Beach venue just two years after it opened its doors. The 64-year-old‘s lavish Dubai club, which has been described as a “beachfront haven,” has been forced to shut up shop. Wayne and his co-owner Tony Truman today shared a statement on the closure. They wrote: “Since opening our doors, O Beach Dubai has welcomed guests from Dubai and around the world, creating unforgettable experiences and memories along the way. Too many awesome venues here already! At least you tried.” Celebrity hotspot O Beach Ibiza, originally named Ocean Beach, first opened in June 2012. The party venue is known for hosting major stars including, Ed Sheeran, Conor McGregor, Jason Derulo, Jack Grealish, and Lewis Capaldi. Wayne planned to unveil O Beach Dubai in 2020 but the launch was delayed due until 2024 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and development site complications on Palm Jumeirah. He previously said of the Dubai venue: “It’s stunning. As much as I love Ocean Ibiza, this is the most beautiful beach club I have ever seen in my life. It’s incredible.” Comment now
