WATCH: Ukraine Unleashes FPV-Carrying Magura Sea Drones Against Russian Targets on Land

Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) said its Group 13 special forces unit struck two Russian radar-related targets in Russian-occupied Crimea using new Magura maritime platforms equipped to carry FPV drones. According to HUR, the latest Magura platforms included FPV drone carriers, enabling Ukrainian operators to launch successful strikes against Russian ground targets in Crimea. “From now on, our Maguras also pose a threat to the Russian occupiers on land, this fundamentally shifts the fight into a new dimension,” said the Group 13 commander, who uses the call sign “Thirteen.” “Our operations throughout the war against the Russian aggressor confirm that the invaders will have no place in Crimea – neither in its waters, nor in the skies over the Black Sea, nor on Crimean soil. Crimea is Ukraine,” he added. HUR also released what it described as exclusive footage of the operation involving the Magura platforms and FPV drones. According to the agency, Group 13 operators have destroyed nine Russian ships and damaged five others during the war. The unit has also destroyed three Russian helicopters, damaged another helicopter, and destroyed two fighter aircraft belonging to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
