WATCH: New 4-star Georgia commit Adryan Cole’s Jr. Highlights

Georgia added to its 2027 class on Saturday with Douglas County safety Adryan Cole. The Bulldogs beat out LSU, Florida, Ole Miss and a host of other programs out for the four-star prospect. At 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Cole is ranked as the nation’s No. 158 overall prospect and No. 12 safety per the Rivals Industry Rankings, a weighted average that includes all three websites that publish recruiting rankings. He’s also the No. 12 safety in Georgia. As a junior, Cole saw time on both sides of the ball at Douglas County. He piled up 69 total tackles, picked off one pass, had two tackles for loss and one sack. A look at his junior highlights show why Georgia became so enamored with the in-state talent. Cole started his high school career at Pace Academy in Atlanta before transferring to Douglas County. He’s the 19th commit for Georgia in the 2027 class and the highest ranked on the defensive side of the ball per the Rivals Industry Rankings. He’s the Bulldogs’ seventh commit on the defensive side of the ball. Cole is also Georgia’s lone commit in the defensive backfield at this time. The Bulldogs currently have the nation’s No. 14 class, and it ranks No. 7 in the SEC.
