Attorney General Todd Blanche is holding a White House press briefing in the Rose Garden on Tuesday.Blanche is the latest administration official to lead a White House press conference following Karoline Leavitt’s departure as press secretary. The last press briefing was held by Vice President JD Vance earlier this month. When she was on maternity leave, various other administration officials held briefings in her stead. Over the weekend, President Donald Trump teased that the White House has developed a short list of candidates for the press secretary position, but in the meantime, the role will be temporarily filled by various Cabinet members. Blanche is the next one up.The press conference is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
