Washington baseball team upsets top-ranked UCLA

Jackson Thomas and Gunnar Nichols combined on a three-hit shutout as host Washington earned an 8-0 victory Thursday night over top-ranked UCLA (46-6, 26-2), the first place team in the Big Ten.Thomas pitched six innings and Nichols three.
