The crisp giant unveiled the two takeaway-inspired crisps in July and brought back its iconic KFC collab last month too, much to fans’ approval. We also saw the first-ever tube packaging for Walkers MAX, which caused mixed opinions, and three limited-edition flavours for the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026: English Bangers and Mash, Walkers Wavy Spanish Queso, and Walkers Max Portuguese Chorizo and Onion. And now, two new crisps are joining the line-up. Walkers has unveiled the Wavy Cut range, available now exclusively at Sainsbury’s, though a wider retail rollout is set for next year. These two new ridged crisps come in flavours that are previous ‘shopper-favourites’, according to Walkers, but now in a new format. What are the flavours? Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce is in partnership with Heinz (Picture: Walkers) Building on Walkers’ partnership with Heinz, Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce crisps were revived in March and can now be enjoyed in the Wavy Cut format. Walkers say this ‘taps into evolving shopper demand and the continued growth of the ridged crisp segment.’ Sticky Teriyaki Sticky Teriyaki was originally part of the ‘Flavours of the World’ collection (Picture: Walkers) First introduced last August as part of Walker’s ‘Flavours of the World’ range, which proved to be a best-seller, Sticky Teriyaki is now available in the new Wavy Cut format. The crisps, which were inspired by Japan, alongside Masala Chicken, which was inspired by India, were the first time in decades that brand-new flavours were added to Walker’s core range, and not as a limited-edition campaign. Both in 140g bags and priced at £2 RRP, these snacks are ideal for sharing. ‘We know consumers are seeking more exciting taste experiences,’ said Christopher Crimmins, marketing manager at Walker’s owner, PepsiCo. ‘The launch of Walkers Wavy Cut has been designed to meet this demand, while offering a premium format that will help Sainsbury’s drive sales of higher-value lines.’ The brand also confirmed that both crisps are HFSS compliant. This means the snacks fall within the government’s threshold for fat, salt, or sugar. Non-compliant products face restrictions such as being banned from prominent spots in shops like checkouts or store entrances, being ineligible for multi-buy deals, and being unable to be advertised on TV before 9pm. What did people say? One person on Instagram said, ‘can confirm that the Worcester sauce ones are banging,’ while another said they ‘need to try some of these.’ Which new Walkers flavour are you most excited to try?
