This was announced on Facebook at 2 p.m. as the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration placed Valenzuela City on Yellow Rainfall Warning because of the southwest monsoon, or Habagat. Sol Aragones also suspended afternoon classes at all levels in public and private schools across the province on Monday due to heavy rains brought by habagat. Aragones announced the suspension in a Facebook post after the entire province was placed under a Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning.
