The search has resumed this morning for an elderly man with dementia who vanished after going for a walk in Wagin on Saturday. James Ballantyne, 87, was last seen on Saturday morning walking along Leonora Street. His wife raised the alarm after he failed to return home. There are concerns he has gone for a walk and become confused and been unable to find his way home. Wagin locals are being asked to keep an eye out for him and the SES continue to search for the elderly man, who has potentially spent two nights outside in the cold weather.
