A 25-year-old Stratton man will face court on Wednesday after allegedly leading police on a chase through Perth’s east on Tuesday afternoon.A police chase came to an end on the train line in Perth’s east on Tuesday. 9News PerthPolice allege the man was the driver of a Holden Trailblazer that failed to stop when officers attempted to pull the car over on Ferguson Street about 2.50pm.The chase didn’t last long before the car hit a railway embankment, ending up on the train line near Farrall Road in Swan View.Police allege the man fled the scene but was arrested nearby.The 25-year-old man has been charged with reckless driving to escape pursuit by police, driver of a vehicle failed to comply with a direction to stop (circumstance of aggravation), and no authority to drive (disqualified from holding or obtaining).He will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
