Ohio High School SportsElder quarterback Kaden Estep.Colin Kunz, special to cleveland.comCLEVELAND, Ohio — Game balls go out to the following Southwest Ohio players for their performances from Week 7 of the high school football season.Coaches are encouraged to send statistics and nominations to Ryan Isley (risley@cleveland.com) by Sunday evening.Voting ends on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 4:00 pm.(Players are listed in alphabetical order)Caleb Abshire, West Clermont: The running back ran for 152 yards and three scores on 11 carries in a 45-5 win over Walnut Hills.Kaden Estep, Elder: In a 35-28 loss to Archbishop Moeller, the Miami (OH) commit had a season-high 398 yards passing and threw for three touchdowns with one interception.Anquan Evans, Oak Hills: The running back carried the ball 19 times for 187 yards and three scores and added a 62-yard touchdown catch in a 42-14 win over Hamilton.Roman Garr, Colerain: In a 41-23 win over Sycamore, the quarterback threw for 352 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 81 yards on five carries.Isaiah Garrett, Winton Woods: The senior running back ran the ball 15 times for 143 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-0 win over Loveland.Juice Glover-Brown, Archbishop Moeller: The sophomore running back went wild in a 35-28 win over Elder, running for 205 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries, which included the game-winning 26-yard score with just 50 seconds remaining.Lorenzo McMullen Jr., Princeton: The 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver hauled in 10 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Mason.Kenyon Norman, Lakota West: The Northwestern commit ran the ball 25 times for 145 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Middletown.Owen Scalf, Anderson: In a 66-21 win over Turpin, the senior quarterback completed 14 of 18 passes for 269 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for 88 yards and three scores.Logan Schmenk, Lebanon: In a 39-29 win over Milford, he ran for 256 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries.Lincoln Schreiber, Oak Hills: In a 42-14 win over Hamilton, the senior quarterback was nearly perfect, completing 21 of 22 passes for 335 yards and three touchdowns.Key’Sean Torbert, Princeton: In a 47-0 win over Mason, the junior quarterback threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another.Tysin Weaver, Anderson: The wide receiver pulled in five catches for 171 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Turpin.Aiden Wehrum, Milford: In a 39-29 loss to Lebanon, he threw for 345 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.Oliver Young, Kings: In a 20-19 loss to Little Miami, the running back carried the ball 26 times for 234 yards and two touchdowns.The poll below will remain open until 4 p.m. Thursday.Don’t see the poll?
