Vivo S2 FE launching in India on October 6 alongside Vivo V80

Vivo is gearing up to launch two smartphones – Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80 – next month, slated for October 6. The Chinese company has been teasing both devices for a while, revealing their design and features. While the Vivo V80's key specs, features and rumoured price have already surfaced, there is still little information available about the Vivo S2 FE. Vivo S2 FE’s teased colours look similar to those of the Vivo X300 FE. However, there are murmurs that the Vivo X Fold 6 could also join the launch lineup on October 6.What we know about Vivo S2 FEVivo has confirmed that the Vivo S2 FE will run on OriginOS and is aimed primarily at younger consumers. The smartphone is expected to focus on design and functionality, while also featuring Vivo’s largest battery capacity to date. The company has also teased an immersive display and a slim profile, with the phone being positioned for social media use and content creation. Promotional materials show the tagline “My New Story” and reveal a dual-camera setup on the rear. The Vivo S2 FE will be sold via Flipkart, Vivo India’s online store and offline stores. The phone will also have a 50-megapixel Group Selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view and autofocus. It will be the first V-Series phone to run Android 17-based OriginOS 7. The Vivo V80 will pack a 7,200mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge.As for the price, tipster Abhishek Yadav on X has claimed that the Vivo V80 could start at Rs 63,000 in India. According to the leak, the phone could come in three configurations, with the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model priced at Rs 63,000, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant at Rs 70,000 and the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage model at Rs 80,000.
