Suriya and Mamitha Baiju's family drama continued its steady box-office run on Wednesday, earning an estimated Rs 5.10 crore nett (gross minus taxes) in India on Day 6, according to trade website Sacnilk. The latest figure marks a 19.7 per cent drop from Tuesday's Rs 6.35 crore collection.Despite the dip, the film has now crossed Rs 135 crore worldwide, putting the much-anticipated Rs 150-crore milestone firmly within reach. With its Day 6 collection, Vishwanath And Sons has taken its total India nett collection to Rs 77.40 crore. Its India gross collection currently stands at Rs 89.49 crore.The film recorded 5,093 shows across India on its sixth day, indicating that it continues to command a sizeable theatrical presence even as its daily numbers settle after the opening weekend. The Day 5-to-Day 6 drop is also relatively consistent with the film's post-weekend trajectory. Vishwanath And Sons added around Rs 1 crore from overseas on Day 6, taking its cumulative overseas gross to approximately Rs 46 crore.With an India gross of Rs 89.49 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 46 crore, the film's worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 135.49 crore. That gives the Suriya-starrer another significant milestone in its first week, with the film continuing to build on its strong opening.Tamil and Telugu versions continue to hold The film's Telugu version continued to perform strongly in comparison with the Tamil version on Day 6. Morning shows stood at 15.25 per cent, while afternoon occupancy rose to 24.33 per cent.
