Built around Qualcomm’s Dragonwing IQ10 processor, the platform acts as the robot’s central brain, delivering up to 700 TOPS of AI computing power for tasks such as recognizing objects, planning movements, and making decisions in real time. It includes 18 CPU cores, dedicated AI processors, and a graphics processor, while supporting up to 12 cameras, plus LiDAR, Time-of-Flight sensors, and motion sensors. This allows robots to better see, understand, and navigate their surroundings while simplifying system design and improving response speed. On the software side, the Dragonwing IQ10 RRD includes ROS 2 support, on-device AI runtimes, platform services, and cloud-based lifecycle management through Qualcomm AI Hub. Qualcomm said the platform is backed by ecosystem partners including NEURA Robotics, Advantech, APLUX, Booster, Innodisk, MeiG, NEXCOM, Radxa, Thundercomm, and VinMotion, which are exploring deployments across next-generation robotics applications.
