Video: Woman falls face-first into boiling sambar meant for Ganesh Puja prasad

A woman fell into a vessel of boiling sambar while helping with a Vinayaka Chavithi annadanam in Vijayawada. She reportedly lost her balance while a large vessel of sambar was being moved and fell into it.In the video, Sujatha could be seen carrying the heavy vessel through a narrow alley with the assistance of another woman. A few seconds later, the woman lost her balance and tumbled into the vessel, face-first.Her feet could be seen wriggling in pain as a huge cloud of steam rose from the vessel. She was helped out as people rushed to her aid, helping her regain her balance before lifting her out of the boiling sambar and seating her as she visibly shook. Sujatha sustained severe burn injuries and was shifted to a hospital in Vijayawada for treatment. She later succumbed to her injuries.The incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
