A separate video shows a few youths running towards their motorcycles, mounting them and fleeing the scene.The incident took place on the first Monday of the holy month of Sawan (August) in Lucknow's Chowk police station area, when schoolchildren were travelling in the van. The alleged attack left the children frightened and caused panic in the locality.According to local residents, a group of youths riding motorcycles got into an argument over an unspecified issue. As the dispute escalated, they allegedly began throwing stones at the school van. Eyewitnesses said passersby intervened to calm the situation, following which the accused fled.Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Kamlesh Dixit said no child was injured in the incident. He said unidentified persons vandalised the school van near Charak Chauraha on Tuesday morning and fled before police reached the spot. An FIR has been registered, and police said strict action would be taken against those responsible.
