Video: Jaipur low-floor bus catches fire, passengers jump out as extinguisher fails

UPDATED: Aug 23, 2026 18:22 ISTA fire broke out in a low-floor bus while it was travelling on a road in Jaipur, triggering panic among passengers, who jumped out of the vehicle to save themselves. The bus was travelling from Kalwar to Chandpole when the fire broke out. As flames emerged from the bus, passengers rushed to get out, with some jumping from the vehicle amid the panic. The fire extinguisher available on board was found to be empty, leaving passengers unable to use it to control the blaze. A water tanker travelling behind the bus was then used to extinguish the fire, bringing the situation under control. No casualties were reported in the Jaipur low-floor bus fire.
