Video: CNG pipe bursts at petrol pump, nozzle hits worker's head; he dies

A high-pressure CNG pipe burst during refuelling at a Jamshedpur petrol pump, fatally injuring a worker. The leak triggered panic, led to the pump being sealed, and prompted an inspection.The accident took place at a petrol pump in Jamshedpur when CNG refuelling was underway.A tragic accident at a petrol pump in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur city was caught on CCTV, showing a high-pressure CNG pipe suddenly bursting during refuelling and a section of the nozzle or pipe striking a worker on the head. The worker, identified as Tushar Kumar, later died during treatment.The incident took place at a Bharat Petroleum pump while a vehicle was being refuelled with CNG.CCTV footage of the incident has now surfaced, capturing the sudden pipe burst during the gas-filling process. The force of the rupture sent part of the nozzle towards Tushar, leaving him seriously injured.His co-workers immediately rushed him to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The accident triggered panic at the petrol pump as gas began leaking following the pipe burst. People at the station abandoned their vehicles and ran to safety.The leak was subsequently brought under control.
