‘Victorious’ Returns With ‘Hollywood Arts’: Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the Netflix Spin-Off

In the wake of nostalgia for the 2000s that is bringing many projects from that era back to the surface in reboot or revival form (please see: Camp Rock 3 and Wizards of Waverly Place), another cult title has resurfaced: Victorious, which will return with a spin-off on Netflix titled Hollywood Arts on October 15.But it's best to start right away with the bad news: Neither the star Victoria Justice, who played the titular Tori Vega, nor the sweet and silly Cat Valentine, played by Ariana Grande, will take part in this new project. Same goes for other cast members who’ve gone on to become big stars, including Elizabeth Gillies, Leon Thomas III//NetflixAmong all of Nickelodeon's hits, Victorious is certainly one of the most successful. When it arrived on Netflix in 2024, the title racked up views (45 million of them as of October 2025, to be precise), confirming itself as one of the most beloved teen products of the 2010s.Of course, that same year, a documentary titled Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV revealed to the public the behind-the-scenes stories of the careers of the network's teen idols, created and then brought to success by Dan Schneider. In the documentary, several actors who moved in the orbit of the projects launched by Schneider reported acts of bullying and harassment suffered during filming.Thankfully, it’s been confirmed that Schneider, who parted ways with Nickelodeon in 2018, had no involvement in Hollywood Arts.
