Vicky Pattison shares heartbreak over sister’s uterine cancer battle and hysterectomy amid her own bid to have a baby

VICKY Pattison has shared her heartbreak over her sister’s uterine cancer battle and hysterectomy as she admitted “nobody knows what’s around the corner.” The 38-year-old’s sister, Laura, opened up on her cancer diagnosis for the first time earlier this month. Now, Vicky has confessed that Laura is still undergoing scans and biopsies as she broke down in tears during an interview with the Daily Mail. She’s had uterine cancer and to hear at 34 that you have to have a full hysterectomy…” Read more on Vicky Pattison Vicky cried as she continued: “Your dreams of growing your family and not having another child aren’t going to be possible, certainly not in a natural capacity, it’s a very bitter pill to swallow. “For anyone or someone in particular, someone like your sister who has always just dreamed of being a mother and all those things. “She’s grieving the life that she thought she had and has to come to terms with her new normal.” The Geordie Shore alum, who has been helping to fundraise for cancer charity CoppaFeel! for a decade, admitted she’s found it “found it extra emotional and extra difficult this year” taking part in their latest fundraising events. It’s made me even more impressed and even more in love with her and even more obsessed with her.” Vicky explained her sister’s brave battle has made her even more introspective and taught her to stop “putting of the things you really want.” She admitted: “Life has no guarantees, no promises, I suppose, and nobody knows what’s around the corner.” Despite undergoing the heartbreak of having a hysterectomy, Laura has always been Vicky’s biggest support when it comes to baby planning. Vicky tied the knot with her husband Ercan Ramdan, 33, in a lavish Italian wedding back in 2024. Earlier this year, the loved-up pair appeared in the Channel 4 documentary, Vicky Pattison: Maybe, Baby? and after exploring parenthood they came to the conclusion that they would love to have a baby. In an emotional interview in July, Vicky broke down in tears as she admitted she felt lost without a baby. She said: “I love my husband so much. He’s going to make such a great dad.
