Venom Officially Debuts New Redesign: See It Here

Marvel reveals Venom's new look, and it's definitely the biggest redesign Eddie Brock's symbiote has experienced in the Marvel Universe's main timeline. By nature, Klyntar's symbiote population look like a uniform horde of alien beings, product of Knull's pure darkness. However, symbiotes have evolved just as much as hominids evolved on Earth, but much faster. Now, the Marvel Universe is filled with symbiotes of all colors, sizes, and patterns, each with their own unique ability. Besides the Life Foundation's symbiotes, Venom's progeny, and recent additions to Marvel's symbiote lore like Torment, Hela recently introduced new symbiote factions, who derive their different emblem colors from the extraterrestrial races they forcibly bonded to. The red, orange, blue, green, and purple symbiote legions control the Chitauri, the Mentelleronites, the Rigelllian, the Kree, and the Skrulls, respectively. On top of that, the Queen in Black has also ordered her symbiote army to possess entities as powerful as the Kree Supreme Intelligence. Earth's resistance fights back with their own collection of symbiote heroes, which includes Agent Anti-Venom, Dylan Brock a.k.a. Chainbreaker, and none other than the original symbiote duo, Eddie Brock and Venom. Venom Unveils His New Design In The Middle Of Battle Venom #260; Written By Al Ewing; Art By Carlos Gómez & Frank D'Armata During Marvel's Queen in Black event, Dylan Brock is absorbed by the Symbiote Intelligence, which can tap into the deepest parts of his mind to retrieve his codex and win Hela the war. After Dylan meets a future version of King-in-Black Eddie Brock in the Black Engine, present-day Eddie arrives in the nick of time, bonded to Venom once again, and sporting a brand-new symbiote design that features a larger, silver emblem and blood-red eyes. Venom also sports pieces of silver armor, including silver tendrils that connect to a pair of gauntlets. At first, Venom's new design might look like yet another twist on his classic appearance. However, this particular return to action is the culmination of a long and tough arc for Eddie Brock. While Venom was bonded to Mary Jane, Eddie was constantly struggling to control Carnage, only to be betrayed and fail to keep the red symbiote from empowering Torment. Thanks to Hela's invasion in Queen in Black, Eddie Brock took advantage of the only opportunity he had of breaking free of the Raft and save the world. Venom's Final Design Is (Almost) Set In Stone Venom #260 Confirms What Venom's Last Days Will Look Like While in the Black Engine, the future version of Eddie Brock reveals to Dylan that the real Eddie is destined to become the King in Black permanently, only to doom the world over and over. After repeating the same mistakes, Eddie Brock will redeem himself and find true happiness. By then, Eddie will retain his armored black-and-red King in Black symbiote design. He also suggests Dylan Brock will be a member of a resistance force, wearing basic armor on top of tactical clothes with a symbiote emblem on his shoulder, plus a white mustache and a scar on his right eye. This version of Eddie Brock is so deeply intertwined with Klyntar's essence that he basically lays out the far future of both Venom and Earth in front of Dylan Brock's eyes. However, each timeline of the Marvel multiverse has multiple possible futures. While a far future where King-in-Black Eddie Brock dooms Earth and later saves it is a possibility, other destinies and prophecies have roughly the same chance of taking place.
