And finally, the third episode, Secrets in Amsterdam, sees a young scientist assassinated after researching a possible cancer treatment breakthrough. For US audiences, the fourth outing of the show has already been available to stream since September 2024 via PBS Masterpiece. Who is starring in series 4 of Van der Valk? English actor Marc Warren will return in the lead role as the clever, streetwise Dutch detective Piet Van der Valk.
