According to his family, Yuvraj last spoke to his mother, Meena Devi, over the phone on the night of September 24. After that, the family could not contact him.His family later contacted his fiance, who lives there. According to her, Yuvraj left his room on September 27 for some work but did not return. His phone has remained switched off since then.Yuvraj had gone to the UAE to work and support his family financially. His father works as a labourer and has been supporting the family, while Yuvraj was the only earning member besides him, according to the family. The family also tried to seek information about Yuvraj from the Indian Embassy. They said the embassy informed them that Yuvraj had exited the UAE, but they have not been able to find out where he is currently.His family also contacted the manager of the hotel where Yuvraj worked. According to his father, the manager said Yuvraj had taken two days off and was expected to return to work on the third day, but he did not report back and has since become unreachable. The family met Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri, and other political leaders, who assured them that efforts would be made to find out about Yuvraj.The family is now seeking help from the Government of India, the Indian Embassy and the concerned authorities to trace him.- EndsWith inputs from Vikas
