Local Iranian media have reported that US attacks on Iran’s southern Hormozgan province over the past two nights killed “about seven to eight people”, all of them civilians, according to Ahmad Moradi, a representative for the province who spoke to Iran’s Tasnim news agency. Tasnim reported that one strike targeted a bridge in the province, hitting two family cars and killing six people. The agency also said the Tappeh Allah-o-Akbar neighbourhood in Bandar Abbas was struck, killing a woman and leaving a one-year-old child with an amputated limb. It added that a driver delivering fuel to petrol stations was killed in a fire.
