Jordan Woodruff The United States recorded a 3-2 victory over Sweden on Saturday to remain unbeaten in group-stage action at the Overwatch World Cup 2026 in Busan, South Korea. Sweden started fast in its Group A contest by sandwiching a 2-0 win on Nepal and a 3-2 victory on Neon Junction around a 3-2 setback on Route 66. Germany notched its first win in group play with a 3-1 win over Spain. Germany got off to a fast start with 2-0 and 1-0 wins on Samoa and Neon Junction, respectively, before Spain answered with a 3-1 triumph on New Junk City. Germany ended the match with a 1-0 victory on Route 66. In Group D play, France remained unbeaten with a 3-0 win over Denmark. France posted a 2-0 victory on Samoa, 2-1 on Eichenwalde and 3-0 on New Junk City. South Korea also recorded a 3-0 win over Colombia following a 2-0 victory on Nepal, 3-0 on New Junk City and 1-0 on Shambali Monastery.
