Instead of getting behind the wheel and dealing with traffic, he takes off from outside his home and soars through the sky before landing at the airport where he works.Jacob Hutzler, an air traffic controller, shared a video on Instagram documenting how he flies his paramotor to work. The clip offered a glimpse into his unconventional morning routine, one that involves strapping on flying equipment instead of reaching for car keys.In the video, Hutzler was seen stepping outside his home carrying his essentials and wearing his paramotoring gear. Once outside, he spread open his parachute, secured his paramotor and prepared for take-off. After getting everything in place, he took a running start and soon lifted off the ground. The video then switched to his point of view as he climbed higher into the air, with the ground stretching out beneath him. Another shot showed Hutzler manoeuvring the paramotor as he continued his journey. At one point, he even crossed his legs and appeared to relax mid-flight, making the unusual commute look surprisingly laid-back. After soaring through the sky, Hutzler eventually approached the airport and brought the paramotor down for a smooth landing, completing his journey to work.Sharing the clip, he explained his unusual routine in the caption, writing, “Here’s how I fly my Paramotor to work as an Air Traffic Controller.” Watch the video here:The video prompted plenty of amused reactions from viewers. One person joked that rising fuel prices were making this kind of commute increasingly appealing, while another imagined Hutzler explaining a late arrival to his boss by blaming heavy aerial traffic and birds in the sky.Others were simply impressed by the unconventional travel method, with one viewer describing it as the coolest commute to work they had ever seen.- Ends
