US President Donald Trump said Sunday that a new task force is now in “in full force and effect” in Iran. "Task Force Iron Gate is in full force and effect in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Coupled with history’s greatest Naval Blockade, very little gets into, or out of, Iran!" he posted on his Truth Social platform. US Central Command (Centcom) announced on Saturday that it had established a new task force “to prevent Iran from using ground routes to transport advanced weapons and other materials”.
