They were last seen around 8 pm near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster. Their father was last seen behind the wheel of a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car with California license plate SOLOYST. The motive behind the alleged kidnapping remains unclear so far. According to the New York Post, their father shared a photo of the brother and sister on Facebook on July 13. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and pink shorts. Meanwhile, her brother, Solomon Sukonick, is also described as 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and a shirt of unknown colour. Their father weighs 135 pounds and is described as being 5 feet and 7 inches tall. He has green eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing black pants, a white shirt and a blue bandana.
