The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) released its latest forecast for Cairo and the governorates, announcing a temperature spike of up to two degrees starting Friday. A moderately hot, humid breeze will greet the early morning, giving way to extremely hot and humid conditions nationwide during the day. Coastal areas will remain hot and humid, while nighttime temperatures will stay moderately warm across most regions. Intermittent winds from Friday through Sunday, will help offer occasional relief, particularly during evening hours. Morning fog & high humidity alert Dense Morning Fog: Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution between four am and eight am. Heavy morning fog is expected on key highways connecting Greater Cairo, the Delta region, and the northern coast.
